Right now my kids are at the age of being fascinated with the world of Harry Potter. I can’t blame them. It seems magical when you think of a story about a young boy who is destined for greatness and uses a wand to fight mythical battles and uses his power for good. A great story that has fascinated millions.

Where’s your magic wand for marketing?

We can often feel that other brands have a magic wand that they wave and they create magic with their marketing. Let’s take a look at Apple. Known for their great ads and marketing campaigns. How is it so easy? It almost seems like everything they touch turns to gold. Spoiler alert. There’s no magic wand. 

Great marketing takes consistency

The secret to great marketing is consistency and understanding your message. Apple does both of these things well. Most businesses either spread themselves too thin with little to no cohesiveness in their marketing or don’t invest long term to create something they can be proud of and speaks intentionally to their customers. If you’re waiting for a magic wand to give you special powers, spend the time to create a message your customers want to hear and believe in. The power is in the message and consistency in your marketing.
